FERRARI

Felipe Massa was visibly happy and surprised in the post qualifying interviews at the fact that he got pole position. He said he studied Kimi Raikkonen's telemetry and saw where he might make up some time but was surprised to have beaten Kimi to pole/

Kimi Raikkonen said in his second flying lap in Quali 3 he made a mistake in Ste Devote and was trying to make up that lost time all through the rest of the lap.

MCLAREN-MERCEDES

Lewis Hamilton lined up at the front of the second row of the grid slotting his Mclaren-Mercedes into 3rd place. His team-mate Heikki Kovalainen brought his Mclare-Mercedes into 4th place to close up the second row of the starting grid.

Lewis Hamilton stated that he didn't have enough pace towards the end of the lap. Heikki Kovalainen was mystified as to why there was such a gap between the front 3 and himself, relativley speaking. After having put his car into the wall in the swimming pool complex he did a decent job getting onto the second row.

BMW

Robert Kubica once again out-did his team-mate by quite a distance, Kubica putting his BMW up in fifth position heading up the 3rd row of the grid. Nick Heidfeld could only manage 13th for his qualifying times. Kubica did say he could have done better had he not let his tyres lose heat because of slowing down before the start of his flying lap, due to traffic.,

WILLIAMS

Nico Rosberg was very happy with his 6th position on the grid. His partner Kazuki Nakajima didn't manage to get into Quali 3 by making too many mistakes on his quick laps.

RENAULT

Fernando Alonso managed to qualify in 7th with his team mate Nelson Piquet only managing 17th, apparently suffering from a slight brake problem in Quali 1.

TOYOTA

Jarno Trulli brought his Toyota up to 8th place after suffering numerous problems over practise. Timo Glock just missed out on Quali 3 coming 11th.

RED BULL

Red Bull will be ecstatic to have both their cars in the top 10, Mark Webber 9th and David Coulthard 10th. Unfortunately Scotsman DC caused some worries with slamming his car into the wall at the chicane hard. Hard enough to concern the Red Bull team because it was too hard to be a simple locking up of brakes.

We wanted to share a tribute video from Red Bull Racing's 4TH Sector with
you.

Two intrepid fans track down David Coulthard on the eve
of Silverstone's 60th anniversary and shine a light on his experiences
at the circuit.

Bizarrely, the interview takes place at a campsite
right next to the track just days before his last race at Silverstone.

This is the 4TH Sector.
